POSITION SUMMARYThe Reunification and Support Services Division provides intensive, trauma-informed behavioral health and case management services designed to preserve families, prevent entry into the child welfare system, and support the safe reunification of children and families involved with child welfare. Services are delivered in home and community-based settings using evidence-based and research-supported practices, including High Fidelity Wraparound, Motivational Interviewing, Nurturing Parenting, Seeking Safety, and other approved interventions that strengthen family functioning, improve safety, promote permanency, and support long-term family stability.
The Reunification and Support Services Division includes the FITT and BabyCAT programs, which provide intensive in-home services to children and families identified by child welfare organizations or other community agencies as at risk of abuse or neglect, or to families working toward reunification through the child welfare system. These programs are subject to change.
The Director reports to the Senior Director of Families First and is the liaison between the program and administration.
This is a professional leadership position responsible for the operational, administrative, and programmatic oversight of Reunification and Support Services within the Families First Division. The Director of Reunification and Support Services provides leadership to program supervisors and is accountable for ensuring high-quality service delivery, achievement of program outcomes, fidelity to evidence-based practices, regulatory and contractual compliance, effective utilization of program resources, and alignment with the agency's strategic priorities.
The Director develops and implements operational strategies that support organizational goals, monitors program performance, oversees the effective utilization of program resources and funding, and promotes continuous quality improvement across all assigned programs. The Director collaborates with agency leadership, child welfare organizations, community agencies, referral partners, and other stakeholders to strengthen service delivery and improve outcomes for children and families. The Director is responsible for ensuring that all programs under their oversight achieve established annual client-facing, client care service expectations.
The Director is expected to understand the annual client-facing, client care service requirements for each program and develop strategies to ensure those expectations are achieved. Meeting the minimum required weekly, monthly, and annual client-facing client care service expectations is an essential function of this position. The Director will obtain or maintain High Fidelity Wraparound Coach Certification and Targeted Case Management Supervisor Certification within six months of assuming the position, as required.
This position is primarily office-based with responsibilities requiring regular work in community settings.
