New Nurse RN Residency Dec and Jan Grads

Apply to join HCA Florida Largo Hospital as a New Nurse RN Resident for the December and January graduating classes. The program is a year‑long, paid residency designed to transition student nurses into competent registered nurses.

The HCA Nurse Residency Program provides hands‑on clinical experience, mentorship from seasoned nurses, and structured educational sessions. Residents progress through advanced clinical training, preceptorships, evidence‑based practice projects, and monthly educational sessions.

• Assess and document patient condition during admission and each shift
• Perform procedures and monitor patient status as ordered by providers
• Administer prescribed medications, monitor therapeutic response, and report deviations
• Provide patient, family, and caregiver education in lay terms
• Advocate for patients, families, and caregivers to deliver a seamless patient experience

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
• Registered Nurse License or Graduate Nurse in the state of Florida
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) obtained within 30 days of employment
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) obtained within 1 year of employment
• No previous RN experience required; some travel may be required
• Other certifications may be requested during employment
