Insight Global is hiring a Quality Inspector for one of our aerospace customers in Largo, FL. This person will be responsible for inspecting metal frames and composite laminate panels by reading 2D drawings and using scales, calipers, etc. Will transact parts in the ERP system and Excel spreadsheets. Also responsible for receiving inspection that was outsourced to ensure it meets requirements based on the drawings.

• Inspect raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to identify defects or deviations from specifications and drawings.
• Perform measurements using calipers, gauges, micrometers, scales, and height gauges to verify dimensions against engineering data.
• Document inspection findings, including defects, non-conformances, and corrective actions in detailed reports and logs.
• Communicate quality issues to production teams and collaborate to implement corrective actions.
• Maintain adherence to established quality management systems, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

• High school diploma
• 1+ year of Quality Inspector experience within Manufacturing
• Experience using inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, scales, and height gauges
• Ability to read blueprints
• Experience transacting parts for inspection in an ERP system or Excel

• Familiarity with aerospace standards such as AS9100 and ISO 9001
• AS9102 FAI experience is a plus
