We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Quality Inspection Technician to join our team at ONICON
. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inspecting incoming materials and maintaining the inspection program. This position performs dimensional and visual inspections; documents results; identifies nonconforming products; and supports corrective actions and continuous improvement.

• Perform dimensional inspections using calipers, micrometers, pin gauges, thread gauges, and other measurement equipment.
• Check machined parts for critical dimensions, tolerances, threads, surface finish, burrs, damage, cleanliness, and workmanship
• Review and maintain material certifications, certificates of conformance, test reports, and any other supporting documentation.
• Follow established sampling plans.
• Record inspection results accurately.
• Notify Quality personnel of supplier-related quality concerns.
• Support supplier corrective-action requests and verify replacement or reworked material.
• Maintain the calibration status and proper condition of inspection equipment.
• Maintain an organized incoming-inspection and quarantine area.
• Follow all company safety, quality and material handling procedures.
• All other related duties as required.

• Familiarity with ISO 9001 quality-system requirements
• Calibration and measurement traceability
• Experience in Dimensional and Geometric Metrology
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, and specifications.
• Comfortable using computers and entering accurate information into quality systems.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with engineering and quality personnel.
