Job SummaryAs a Crew Member, wear multiple hats as a crucial part of the Spiced Black team. Tasks include Front of the House (FOH) duties, Prep Cook responsibilities, cooking on the grill, and maintaining cleanliness in various areas.
Responsibilities- Flavor First:
- Season and cook food according to recipes
- Ensure freshness and quality of ingredients
- Connection:
- Educate guests about our menu
- Respond to guest feedback professionally
- Stand and/or walk for an entire shift to connect with guests
- Pride:
- Take ownership of your station
- Inspect and clean food preparation areas
- Keep kitchen, dining room, and restrooms clean and organized
- Restock stations and assist with deliveries
- Love:
- Focus on self‑improvement and support team success
- Solve problems through open‑mindedness and inclusivity
Required:
- At least 16 years old
- Ability to lift 30+ lbs
- Ability to work standing for 8+ hours
- Passion for helping and serving others
- Effective communication skills
- Teachable with a friendly and enthusiastic attitude
- Desire to learn how to cook
- Able to work in a fast‑paced environment
Preferred:
- Previous knowledge of food service regulations
- Serve Safe or Food Handler’s certification (or willing to attain)
- Previous experience as a prep cook or cook
