Guest Advocate (Cashier or Front of Store Attendant/Cart Attendant) (T0654) s role focuses on delivering exceptional guest service, assisting with checkout transactions, and supporting store operations to ensure a welcoming and efficient shopping experience.

Starting Hourly Rate / Salario por Hora Inicial: $15.75 USD per hour

• Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard.
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests and assisting with daily tasks.
• Engage with guests who need assistance to solve their specific needs and promote available features and services.
• Inform guests of current promotions, store activities, and events; stay knowledgeable about tools, products, and services to resolve issues and improve guest experience.
• Explain benefits of Target Loyalty programs and assist with application or sign-up as needed.
• Scan and bag guest items efficiently and in compliance with safety standards and company best practices.
• Minimize guest wait time while maintaining accuracy and service quality.
• Demonstrate how to use Target App features, including Wallet, Order Pick-Up, Drive Up, and online ordering; guide guests to enroll and use these features.
• Assist with returns following store policies and consult leadership when needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and stock supplies during store hours while remaining available to guests.
• Support guest services such as order pick up (OPU) and Drive-Up (DU) while complying with policies, including applicable adult beverage laws where relevant.
• Comply with safety policies and report hazards; adhere to ethical conduct and regulatory requirements.
• Perform other duties based on business needs.

• Excellent communication and guest service skills; ability to interact positively with guests and team members.
• Ability to problem-solve, adapt to different guest interactions, and work both independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and willingness to educate guests about products and services.
• Ability to operate handheld scanners and other technology; comfortable using multiple devices and staying focused in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays; reliable attendance.
• Physical ability to lift up to 44 pounds occasionally and maneuver merchandise as needed.
