Job Summary
We are hiring a Field Service Mechanic to diagnose and repair diesel trucks and heavy equipment in the field across the state of Florida. This role is ideal for a self-starter who enjoys working independently, traveling, and solving tough mechanical challenges.
Responsibilities
Diagnose and repair diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems on-site
Perform scheduled maintenance and emergency repairs
Travel daily to customer locations (some overnight stays required)
Maintain service vehicle, tools, and inventory
Complete work orders and communicate job status with dispatch
Qualifications
5+ years of diesel and heavy equipment repair experience
Strong knowledge of engine diagnostics, hydraulics, and electrical systems
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (CDL a plus)
Must be able to work independently and manage time effectively
Basic computer or tablet skills for service logs
Benefits
$35–$45/hour DOE + OT pay
