Job Description:
As a Pediatrician at Tamalpais Pediatrics, you will be responsible for providing exceptional medical care to infants, children, and adolescents. You will work closely with our team of pediatricians, nurse practitioners, child psychiatrist, mental health therapists, nurses, medical assistants, and staff to deliver personalized care, from well-child visits to managing chronic conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive well child and adolescent health assessments for pediatric patients, including vaccinations and health screenings.
- Diagnose and treat a wide variety of illnesses, injuries, and conditions.
- Provide care to newborns at Marin Health Medical Center.
- Participate in shared call system, supported by pediatric hospitalists, advice nurses and a local pediatric after-hours clinic.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using electronic health systems.
- Collaborate with other healthcare providers in the clinic, including an integrated behavioral health team, and our local referral network for specialized care when necessary.
- Teach and supervise learners, including those completing their third-year pediatrics clerkship at UCSF.
- Be part of a collaborative team to ensure patients consistently receive the care they need.
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics.
- Current California Medical License or the ability to obtain one.
- CPR certification.
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient-centered approach.
Compensation:
Competitive base salary of $165,000 to $185,000 per year (3 days per week), plus quarterly productivity-based bonuses.
