Job Description Summary
The Front Office Coordinator is essential to establishing an excellent patient experience. We seek a dependable, motivated team player with strong interpersonal skills and professional attitude to join our busy office. This role requires a lively, enthusiastic individual who can deliver personalized care while managing high demand at the front desk. Solid administrative experience, exceptional customer service, and a calm demeanor are essential.
EssentialFunctions & Responsibilities
- Answers telephones, triages calls, takes messages, and provides information.
- Schedules appointments and admissions as required, coordinates patient movement, and relays messages to staff and doctors.
- Prepares patient charts, scans and sorts documents into the electronic health record, and maintains office files.
- Assists with inventory of office supplies and upkeep of office equipment.
- Greets, registers, and verifies patient information, updating records in a prompt, pleasant manner.
- Assembles patient paperwork and submits referrals and authorizations as needed.
- Processes payments, balances copays, and prepares accurate reporting.
- Oversees the reception area, maintains patient confidentiality, and follows company best practices.
- Performs related duties as assigned; may work at multiple locations.
- Clear verbal and written communication in English.
- Knowledge of medical office procedures, basic arithmetic, and grammar.
- Proficient in using computers, fax, and copy machines.
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions and establish effective working relationships with patients, staff, and physicians.
- Ability to maintain meticulous records and confidentiality.
- High school diploma or GED required; business school or related training preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year progressive responsibility in a related role.
- Experience with electronic medical records; EPIC proficiency a plus.
- Computer proficiency:
Microsoft Office. - Bi‑lingual Spanish desired.

Compensation
The compensation for this role is in compliance with applicable law. Selected candidate’s compensation will be based on skills, experience, and internal/market equity. The posted range ($22.50‑$31.50 per hour) reflects our minimum and maximum expectations for the position.
