With an exciting pipeline of new residential developments and continued investment in their people, they are now seeking an ambitious Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team and develop a long-term career within the house building sector.

The Role As Assistant Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for:
Assisting in the commercial management of new build housing developments from procurement through to final account Supporting the preparation of subcontractor packages, enquiries, and orders Assisting with subcontractor valuations, payments, and final accounts Monitoring project costs and assisting with cost reporting and CVRs Managing variations and maintaining accurate commercial records Supporting procurement activities and supplier negotiations Working closely with Site Managers, Buyers, and the wider commercial team Assisting with forecasting and budget management Building strong relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders Ensuring commercial procedures are followed throughout the project lifecycle

The Ideal Candidate The successful Assistant Quantity Surveyor will have:
Previous experience as an Assistant Quantity Surveyor within house building or residential construction Alternatively, experience with a Main Contractor looking to move into the house building sector will also be considered Good commercial awareness and a willingness to develop within a supportive team Knowledge of subcontract procurement and cost management Excellent communication and organisational skills A proactive attitude with strong attention to detail Degree qualified or working towards a qualification in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management Full UK Driving Licence What's on Offer Competitive basic salary of £35,000 - £45,000 Attractive benefits package Opportunity to join a growing and highly respected house builder Exposure to high-quality new build residential developments Structured career progression and ongoing professional development Supportive and collaborative commercial team Long-term career stability within an expanding business Apply:
