Electrical Design Engineer

We're working with a specialist building services design consultancy delivering high‑end electrical solutions for hotels, bars, restaurants, and premium commercial spaces, as well as industrial projects. They are expanding and looking for Junior and Intermediate Electrical Design Engineers who want to work on prestigious projects while enjoying flexibility and work‑life balance.

• Assist in designing electrical building services systems, including lighting, power distribution, fire alarms, and data systems for hospitality, commercial, and industrial projects.
• Produce detailed electrical drawings, schematics, and specifications using AutoCAD/Revit.
• Carry out electrical load calculations, cable sizing, and energy assessments under guidance.
• Support in the design of emergency lighting and small power systems.
• Work closely with senior engineers to deliver high‑quality, design‑focused solutions.

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or a relevant Building Services discipline.
• Strong understanding of electrical building services principles.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (Revit experience is a bonus).
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.

• Previous experience in a building services consultancy or contractor environment.
• Knowledge of CIBSE guidelines and UK Building Regulations.
• Interest in sustainable design and energy efficiency.
