About you

• Qualified Accounts Technician (ATI or equivalent) or part-qualified accountant (CIMA, CAI, ACCA)
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role
• Experience with financial systems and strong Excel skills
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively across departments
• An eye for detail and strong organisational abilities

What you'll do

• Support sales and purchase ledger processing, resolving queries efficiently
• Assist with bank reconciliations and review general ledger entries on a monthly basis
• Contribute to month-end and year-end accounts preparation and statutory reporting
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts including stocks, fixed assets, prepayments, and intercompany balances
• Help develop and monitor KPIs to enhance finance processes
• Assist in preparing internal and statutory returns to ensure compliance
• Work closely with non-finance colleagues to support process improvements
• Provide ad hoc support to the Financial Controller and wider finance team
