Maintaining accurate supplier records and supporting updates to vendor information.
Responding to supplier queries and building effective working relationships with external vendors.

Processing and reconciling cash receipts accurately and within agreed timescales.
Completing regular Accounts Payable reconciliations.
Supporting the finance team with month-end activities and reporting.

Assisting with internal and external audit requirements by supplying appropriate documentation.
Ensuring finance processes are completed in line with internal controls, policies and relevant regulations.
Identifying and escalating discrepancies or potential issues where appropriate.
Supporting ongoing improvements and efficiencies within Accounts Payable and wider finance processes.
Providing general administrative support and assisting with ad hoc finance and cross-functional projects when required.

What You'll Need to Succeed To be successful in this position, you will ideally have:

Previous hands-on experience within an Accounts Payable, Finance Administrator or similar transactional finance role.
A good understanding of the end-to-end Accounts Payable process.
Previous experience using an ERP or accounting system, with SAP experience highly advantageous.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to work accurately with financial information.
Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise your workload and meet deadlines.
Confidence communicating with suppliers and internal stakeholders, both verbally and in writing.
The ability to handle confidential and sensitive information professionally.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.

What You'll Get in Return You will have the opportunity to join a well-established organisation in a varied finance position where you can develop your Accounts Payable and broader finance administration experience.

You will gain exposure to a busy finance function, ERP processes, supplier management, reconciliations, month-end activity and process improvement, providing a strong platform for someone looking to continue developing their career within finance.
