HR Manager

£53,288 - £70,000 per annum (depending on experience)

• 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays
• Up to 18% bonus
• Contributory pension scheme - Caterpillar will double the employee's contribution up to 6%
• Contributory share scheme - Caterpillar will match 50% of the employee's contribution.

This position requires a 5-day-a-week schedule in the office.

Are you an experienced HR professional who has the desire to lead an experienced team of HR Partners and Generalists? You could have that opportunity to achieve that at our facility in Larne, Northern Ireland. This role fits within Caterpillar’s Electric Power Division (EPD).

In this role you play an integral role leading and implementing HR strategies aligned with our business objectives, providing guidance on HR policies and practices, and foster a culture of employee engagement and development.

• Collaborate with management as a strategic advisor helping identify and prioritize HR initiatives that align with the organization's strategic goals and objectives.
• Align HR policies and programs for their business unit or region which promote employee engagement, retention, and performance.
• Act as a trusted coach providing guidance to leaders and managers on HR‑related matters, including performance management, compensation, and benefits, etc.
• Analyze HR metrics and data to identify trends and opportunities and develop a story to provide data‑driven recommendations to senior management.
• Lead a team of HR professionals to collaborate effectively with other Centers of Excellence and serve as thought leaders to the business and HR.

• Knowledge of leadership practices and processes; ability to use strategies and skills to enlist others in setting, embracing and achieving objectives while having a long‑term perspective of the future state of things and how to get there.
• Utilizes an appropriate style of leadership: autocratic, democratic, laissez‑faire/free rein, etc. to meet team needs and development
