Job Title: HR Manager
Job Description: An experienced HR professional who leads and manages an HR team of Partners and Generalists, aligning HR strategies with business objectives and driving success through Caterpillar’s values of Safety, Integrity, Teamwork, Excellence, and Commitment.
Location: Larne, Northern Ireland
Schedule: 4.5 days a week in the office
Posting Dates: February 12, 2026 – February 25, 2026
Compensation£53,288 – £70,000 per annum (depending on experience)

The OpportunityThis role offers the chance to lead an experienced HR team at our Larne facility, develop and implement HR strategies that support business growth, and foster a culture of engagement and development aligned with our core values.
What You Will Do- Collaborate with management as a strategic advisor, identifying and prioritising HR initiatives that align with organisational goals.
- Align HR policies and programmes for the business unit or region to promote employee engagement, retention, and performance.
- Act as a trusted coach, providing guidance to leaders and managers on performance management, compensation, benefits, and other HR matters.
- Analyse HR metrics and data to identify trends, opportunities, and develop data‑driven recommendations for senior management.
- Lead a team of HR professionals, collaborating with other Centres of Excellence and serving as thought leaders.
- Knowledge of leadership practices and processes with the ability to develop engaging HR strategies.
- Ability to apply multiple leadership styles to meet evolving team needs.
- Proven capability to use positive reinforcement and coaching techniques to motivate employees and drive desired behaviours.
- Strong leadership attributes, including integrity, confidence, persistence, and sound judgment.
- Design organisational planning processes and decision‑making channels.
- Demonstrate a big‑picture understanding of the business and its priorities.
- Possess a strong foundation in business fundamentals, measurement, and finance.
- Apply critical thinking techniques in decision‑making processes.
- Identify, gather, and organise relevant data, ideas, and information to inform decisions.
- Document key inputs and stakeholders to support transparent and consistent decision‑making.
- Recognise, clarify, and prioritise concerns while assessing risks, benefits, and alternatives.
- Use effective influencing tactics and strategies to impact decisions within and outside the organization.
