OverviewAre you a supply chain professional with a passion for operational excellence and team leadership? We are seeking a Material Planning and Inventory Manager to join our dynamic team in Larne. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a pivotal role in a global organisation, ensuring the smooth flow of materials and orders across our supply chain.
Key Information About This Role- Attractive Salary: (depending on experience).
- Hours:

- Align demand planning with manufacturing, marketing, and material planning to meet customer requirements.
- Lead and manage a team of supply chain professionals, conducting performance reviews and supporting career development.
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to ensure accurate demand forecasts and production schedules.
- Resolve conflicts between supply constraints and customer expectations through proactive planning.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance compliance, reduce errors, and increase efficiency.
- Lead change management initiatives for new systems and procedures.
- Define and maintain optimal inventory levels in collaboration with supply chain and finance teams.
- Monitor inventory health using KPIs and dashboards to support data-driven decision-making.
- Improve forecast accuracy by analysing data and market trends to minimise excess and obsolete inventory.
- Proven experience in material planning and inventory management within the manufacturing industry.
- Strong understanding of supply chain components and their impact on operations.
- Experience in resolving obstacles to meet production schedules and removing material flow barriers.
- Tactical and strategic planning skills to adapt to changing demands and supply constraints.
- Expertise in identifying bottlenecks in the material planning cycle and implementing solutions.
- Strong decision-making, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience managing a team of supply chain professionals.
