• Ensure all areas are cleaned efficiently and in a timely manner to the required standards, including weekly and periodic tasks.
• Use cleaning chemicals safely as detailed by the COSHH guidelines.
• Maintain full working knowledge of all cleaning equipment, materials and agents, and use equipment as directed after proper training.
• Report immediately any faulty equipment and mark it as such, avoiding use.
• Use appropriate safety signage (e.g., wet floor signs) and warn customers where possible.
• Keep cleaning stores clean, tidy and store equipment correctly and safely.

• Self‑motivated, working independently and taking initiative to complete tasks.
• Flexible with a positive, can‑do attitude.
• Strong time‑management skills.
• Attention to detail in all aspects of the work.
• Leads by example and embodies company values.
• Enthusiastic about customer service and reputation.
• Basic statutory training requires basic reading, writing, speaking and listening skills to understand safety and work instructions and communicate with customers.
