Production Operative

Hours:

Monday to Friday 7am - 3pm (37.5hpw) Salary: £27,114.00 per annum As a key member of the production team, you will play an important role in ensuring manufacturing operations run safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards. Working closely with the Site Supervisor and wider team, your responsibilities will include:
Operating production machinery and equipment following training Carrying out manufacturing activities in line with company procedures Inspecting products throughout the production process to ensure quality standards are met Maintaining accurate production records Supporting plant maintenance and equipment upkeep Ensuring high standards of housekeeping across the site Following all health and safety policies and procedures Assisting with customer deliveries when required Identifying opportunities to improve production processes and efficiency Working collaboratively to meet production targets and customer requirements

Previous hands-on experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment A strong understanding of workplace health and safety The ability to work to procedures and quality standards Excellent reliability, work ethic and a positive attitude Good communication and organisational skills A flexible approach and willingness to support the wider team While not essential, we'd love to hear from candidates who have: A valid Forklift Licence A Full Driving Licence Experience operating plant or production machinery Experience in quality inspection or production record keeping GCSE (or equivalent) Maths and English qualifications
