Are you a skilled Forklift Driver looking for a fantastic opportunity to balance your work and personal life? We are currently recruiting for dedicated professionals to join the team at Caterpillar's premier facility in Larne. Job Duties /Responsibilities
  • Operating a forklift truck and other relevant equipment for onsite component/equipment movements. Loading boxes, crates, skids, frames etc. for waste disposal.
  • Complete necessary paperwork relating to component equipment movements.
  • Inspects, maintains and operates machinery within relevant company guidelines.
  • Compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Compliance with 5S programme and other business improvement initiatives.
  • Display behaviour and conduct fitting with our Values in Action.
  • Train other employees if and when required.
  • Any other appropriate duties.
Hours of work and salary
  • Pay:
    Day Shift - £14.84/hr | Night Shift - £19.97/hr | Overtime - £22.26/hr (First 10 hours) | Overtime - £29.68/hr (After 10 hours).

    Shift: Mon: 07:00 - 17:15 | Tues
    - Thurs: 07:00 - 16:45
  • Night

    Shift: Mon: 20:15 - 06:30 | Tues

Required Qualifications
  • Forklift license and previous relevant experience
  • The ability to follow and comprehend verbal, specific and detailed procedures and work instructions as well as basic arithmetic calculations in order to perform the duties described above.
  • Good communication skills, experience working in a team environment
  • Ability to work reasonable amounts of overtime and various shift patterns
Desired Qualifications
  • Reasonable level of computer literacy
  • Previous experience working in a lean environment.
  • Ability to prioritise and organise sequence of work on occasion.
