Responsibilities
  • Managing the full life cycle of home construction projects in Las Cruces – from dirt to delivery.
  • Coordinating and holding trade partners accountable for schedules, quality, safety, and cost.
  • Ensuring every home exceeds our high French Brothers standard and raising the bar.
  • Creating a five‑star customer experience for every homeowner.
  • Problem‑solving, decision‑making, and thinking ahead to keep projects on time and on budget.
  • Managing day‑to‑day construction activities across multiple home builds.
  • Coordinating schedules with trade partners and suppliers to ensure timely completion.
  • Monitoring project budgets, cost controls, and material usage to reduce waste.
  • Proactively identifying potential issues and implementing solutions before they impact timelines or budgets.
  • Conducting quality inspections at key stages of construction to ensure all work meets or exceeds French Brothers standards.
  • Ensuring compliance with all safety protocols, building codes, and company policies.
  • Maintaining detailed project documentation, reports, and records.
  • Serving as the main point of contact for homeowners during the construction process.
  • Providing regular updates, answering questions, and addressing concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Delivering homes that exceed customer expectations in both quality and experience.
  • Building and maintaining strong working relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and inspectors.
  • Holding trade partners accountable for deadlines, quality, and safety standards.
  • Providing constructive feedback and collaborating to resolve issues effectively.
Qualifications
  • 1–3 years of experience in residential construction, project management, or related fields preferred; driven graduates from construction management programs or trade schools also welcome.
  • Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent trade school experience (preferred but not required).
  • Knowledge of construction processes, scheduling, and budgeting.
  • Strong leadership and decision‑making skills.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a high level of initiative and accountability.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Technologically proficient (construction management software, MS Office, mobile apps).
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to walk, stand, and navigate active construction sites for extended periods.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs occasionally.
  • Tolerance for working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
