Description
The Nurse Educator works within the Education Department and collaborates with Medical Center Departments to assess, implement and evaluate educational and development programs for MMC independently and collaboratively. The Nurse Educator provides service to patients throughout the life span including newborns, children, adolescents, adults and geriatric age groups.
Responsibilities- Assess, implement and evaluate educational and development programs for Memorial Medical Center (MMC).
- Collaborate with Medical Center departments to meet educational needs.
- Provide education services to patients across the life span (newborns to geriatrics).
- Minimum Education:
Graduate from a School of Nursing Program. - Minimum Experience:
Two (2) years acute care experience required. Effective written and oral communication skills. - Certification/Licensure:
Must possess a current New Mexico or compact RN license.
