Entry-Level Civil Engineer — Las Cruces at Bohannan Huston, Inc. (BHI)

We are seeking December 2025 graduates to join our Las Cruces Engineering Group. You will work with industry experts to develop solutions for infrastructure projects and contribute to projects that shape communities.

• Permitting & Regulatory Support — Assist with permitting processes and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal requirements.
• Site & Infrastructure Design — Support grading, earthwork, roadway, and utility (water, wastewater, gas) design efforts.
• Design Drafting & Technical Documentation — Prepare design drawings, maintain project records, and contribute to preliminary engineering reports.
• GIS & Data Modeling — Develop and maintain GIS databases and perform computer-based engineering analyses.
• Construction Cost Estimating — Contribute to accurate budgeting and cost estimation for engineering projects.
• Construction Support — Participate in inspection duties to ensure quality and compliance during construction phases.

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering (or within one semester of graduation) with a minimum 3.0 GPA.
• Engineer Intern (EI) certification.
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D, Bluebeam Revu, ESRI Arc Map, and Microsoft Office.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Problem-solving mindset: self-starter, organized, detail-oriented, and willing to innovate.
