Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS), Space and Launch Division is looking for a Senior Systems Engineer - Operations/Systems Analysis (Level
5) to perform mission product quality analysis and leadership for our dynamic 24/7 team in Las Cruces, NM. Senior Systems Engineer is a senior contractor on site and works closely with government customers to direct operations. Provides overall operation management for all real-time operations elements. Provides continuity of system knowledge. Assists government customer in responding to real-time contingencies in operations.

Position Responsibilities:

* Provides continuity of system knowledge

* Provides comprehensive operational management

* Provides options and recommendations to government customers for day to day operation and contingency scenarios

* Provides leadership to operational crews This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):
* Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement

* 14 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

* Willing to work variable shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays

* Able to successfully complete the Space Vehicle Certification program which requires a combination of self-study and on-the-job (OJT) training

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
* Prior experience with coding/scripting with various languages (MATLAB, Pearl, etc...)

* Prior experience working with space vehicles

* Prior operational leadership position Relocation :

Pay and Benefits:
