La Clinica de Familia (LCDF) is a FQHC with several locations in Southern New Mexico. For over 40 years, we have provided services to the residents of Southern New Mexico. Performs assessment, diagnostic evaluation, crisis intervention, case management, and therapeutic services for individuals, families, and groups; coordinates with and provides education to support systems and community agencies in relation to patient care, assists in staff orientation and training; assists in team supervision and provides feedback to assist in planning, development, and implementation of services for their program.

• Knowledge of various modes of psychotherapy and evidence-based practices, especially crisis intervention and short‑term models using individual, group, and familial approaches.
• Skill in assessment procedures, diagnostic evaluation, therapeutic treatment, and case management practices including follow‑up and closure.
• Ability to establish therapeutic alliance with clients and their families.
• Ability to work effectively on a multi‑disciplinary team and with the public.
• Assesses and incorporates culture into assessment and treatment processes.
• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
• Actively seeks feedback and supervision, and engages in personal reflection and self‑correction.
• Acknowledges impact of own feelings and cultural values on practice.
• Knowledge of ethical principles and state laws.
• Knowledge and adheres to state reporting and regulatory guidelines.
• Maintains appropriate boundaries with patients.
• Assesses for trauma and engages in trauma‑informed practices.
• Formulates realistic, patient‑centered treatment goals and evaluates progress toward goals.
• Knowledge of developmental needs of population served.

• Master’s degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or a behavioral health related field.
• Current New Mexico license in the field of counseling, social work, psychology or marriage and family therapy.
• Have at least one year of relevant experience working with clients with substance or alcohol use.
• Must maintain a clean driving record, valid driver’s license, and current car insurance.
• Must submit to LCDF required background check, TB screen and drug testing.
