Job Description
You will serve as a Mission IT Operator 24x7 engineering team member, providing direct support for detection, isolation, and resolution of ground segment problems, and serving as the first responder for all site issues. This position requires broad knowledge of high-priority systems across a multi-location enterprise.
What You’ll Get to Do:
- Ensure all technical baseline infrastructure is maintained at an optimal level to meet customer mission needs.
- Support duties include monitoring, recognizing, evaluating, and correcting system and network problems.
- Maintain privileged user access across high-priority systems.
- Interface daily with government and partner country senior leadership, system operators, and engineers at various sites and across the enterprise.
- Interpret system documentation and record problems in logging and discrepancy reporting tools.
- Collect data describing the environment during failures.
- Serve as a single point of contact for monitoring, troubleshooting, and anomaly resolution. Perform routine software functions as required.
- Escalate issues to Tier 2 as needed and perform call-ins.
- Coordinate with enterprise resources to resolve operational issues.
- Work with other 24x7 engineering crews across multiple locations, providing enterprise-level maintenance support with high customer visibility.
- Provide mentorship, guidance, and training to entry-level engineering staff.
- Shift work - 12-hour shifts on Panama schedule (2 on, 2 off, 3 on, 2 off, 2 on, 3 off), rotation every 3 months. Shifts are and .
Qualifications:
- TS/SCI with Poly required.
- Current DODI 8570.01-M IAT Level II Certification, Security+ Certification.
- AA Degree in a related technical discipline and relevant knowledge or 3-5 years of direct experience in lieu of degree.
- Broad knowledge of high-priority systems across a multi-location enterprise.
- Good communication skills for effective information exchange across multiple locations.
- Ability to work non-standard work weeks, including weekends and holidays, with 12-hour shifts for 24x7 support.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with UNIX, Linux, Windows system administration.
- Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware.

Pay Range: The salary depends on various factors including location, experience, skills, and certifications. Our benefits include healthcare, wellness, financial, retirement, family support, education, and time off. The proposed salary range is $43,500 - $86,900.
