Chavira's Market in Las Cruces, New Mexico, is seeking a dependable and hardworking individual to join our team as a Tortillería Specialist. This is your chance to be part of a team that takes pride in crafting fresh corn tortillas and tostada chips while contributing to a cornerstone of our community.

As a Tortillería Specialist, you'll play a key role in our tortilla production process. Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing and producing fresh corn tortillas and tostada chips to meet our high-quality standards.
• Operating the tortilla-making machine safely, efficiently, and with precision.
• Learning how to set up, operate, adjust, and monitor the tortilla machine.
• Performing basic machine maintenance and routine checks to ensure smooth operations.
• Cleaning and sanitizing the tortilla machine, equipment, and production area throughout the day.
• Keeping the workspace organized, clean, and safe.
• Packaging and organizing finished tortillas and tostada chips for sale or distribution.
• Monitoring product quality and reporting any issues with the machine or product.
• Following food‑safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.
• Collaborating with the team and assisting with additional tasks as needed.
