Position Title: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) / Travel LPN
Classification: Contract / Temporary
Location: Las Cruces, New Mexico

• Shift Type: PA

• Start Time: 6:00 PM

• End Time: 6:30 AM

• Shift Duration: 12 hours

• Meal Break: 30 minutes (unpaid)

• Total Duration: 9 weeks

• Provide quality nursing care in accordance with facility policies and New Mexico state regulations.

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.

• Monitor, record, and communicate patient conditions to supervising RN or physician.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated and effective care.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient records and care activities.

• Follow all infection control, safety, and facility procedures.

• Participate in patient and family education as directed.

• Perform other duties as assigned by the facility supervisor.

• Active and unencumbered LPN license in the state of New Mexico (or compact license).

• Minimum 1 year of recent LPN experience (preferably in long-term care or skilled nursing).

• Current BLS/CPR certification (AHA preferred).

• Ability to adapt quickly and work independently within a team environment.

• Must meet all facility and agency onboarding requirements prior to assignment.

• Pay Type: Hourly (rate per agreed contract terms)

• Overtime: Paid per state and federal regulations.

• Meals/Breaks: 30-minute unpaid meal break per 12-hour shift.

• Housing & Travel: If applicable, per travel agreement or stipend policy.
