Job Description
La Clinica de Familia (LCDF) is a FQHC with several locations in Southern New Mexico. For over 40 years, La Clinica has provided services to the residents of Southern New Mexico. Our mission statement definitely speaks to what La Clinica de Familia stands for, which is to empower and enrich families, individuals, and communities by providing quality medical, dental, behavioral health and educational service for people of all cultures.
This is a rover position, requiring flexibility to work across multiple locations or teams.

Job Summary:
Provides direct primary care health services to LCDF patients within the scope of laws and regulations.
Core Competencies:
- Serve as a rover, providing support across multiple teams or locations.
- Ability to maintain effective working relationships with all employees and department needs.
- Must be a self-initiating and adaptable with ability to communicate to a variety of staff members.
- Must possess good oral and written communication skills.
- Must be highly organized.
- Must have high attention to detail.
- Must maintain a high level of confidentiality.
- Knowledge in health management and service delivery.
- Knowledge of and experience with the poverty level population and life-styles.
- Bilingual English/Spanish desirable.
- Responsive to the needs to the patients.
- Ability to keep relationship with dealings with patients and resources agencies(In addition to formulation and implementation of appropriate diagnostic and treatment plans.)
- Must be able to work and problem solve independently.
- Cultural competence with Hispanic population.
- Basic office procedures relevant to duties contracted for according to primary care.
- Effective communication and patient education skills.
- Licensed by the NM Board of Nursing to practice, or eligible for licensure.
- Board Certification in a primary care specialty.
- DEA certification
- NM Board of Pharmacy certification
- Must have a current NM Driver's License and current automobile insurance.
- Graduate from Nurse Practitioner program.
- Additional training in Primary Care preferred but not required e.g. diabetes education, women's health
