Job Overview:

The part-time Access Monitor / Escort I supports safety, security, and access control for White Sands Missile Range (WSMR), Fort Bliss, and other designated sites. This position is critical to ensuring that only authorized personnel gain access to restricted areas, while maintaining accountability of all individuals present during testing and operational activities.

Support Hours: Applicant shall be available during core work hours as established the Government customer.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Capture/edit video, photo, and graphics; prepare media products for reports/briefings.
• Comply with public release and security guidance; archive media to support data management.

Competencies:

• Serve as Access Monitors for WSMR and Fort Bliss test locations, including acting as Ammo Supply Point (ASP) gatekeeper when directed.
• Escort Foreign Nationals, Media, and other visitors, ensuring compliance with Test Center security requirements.
• Conduct credential and authority verification for personnel requesting access to restricted areas.
• Track and account for all personnel in test locations; ensure no access violations or unaccounted personnel.
• Perform classified area access tasks, including opening/closing procedures as directed.
• Provide 24/7 operational coverage in multiple or remote locations, as required by mission/test schedules.
• Identify and plan for unique hazards, clearance requirements, or training needs that arise during operations.
• Support test officers and technical inspectors by meeting staffing and supervision requirements.

Requirements

Minimum Requirements/Education:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work in austere/remote environments with extended or irregular hours.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to enforce security and safety standards.
• Prior military, law enforcement, or security experience preferred.
