The Fire Sprinkler Fitter is responsible for installing various fire-protection systems, including pipe systems and valves. The candidate should be able to read drawings and blueprints, operate machinery safely, and work effectively as part of a team. Experience in construction is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Select, cut, and assemble pipes and valves for interior and exterior installations.
• Layout piping systems based on blueprints and specifications.
• Test piping systems for leaks and read gauges.
• Secure pipes to structures using clamps and brackets.
• Operate machinery, read blueprints, and maintain a clean work area.

Requirements

• Ability to read blueprints and design drawings.
• High attention to detail.
• Knowledge of fire systems and tools.
• Good judgment and analytical skills.
• Organized, systematic, and deadline-oriented.
• Ability to carry tools weighing up to 70 lbs.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• 3-5 years of relevant work experience.

Preferred

• Ability to read blueprints.
• Basic understanding of construction workflows.
• Experience with MS Office, Adobe Pro DC, Dropbox, and Procore.
• Experience in document control.
