• Under general supervision, responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems and fixtures.
• Ability to understand and work from blueprints and specifications.
• Knowledge of uniform plumbing codes.
• Frequently reports to a Maintenance Supervisor.

  Education and Experience:
  
  High School diploma + 3 years of relevant experience or an Associate's Degree + 1 year of relevant experience.
• Special Certification/Licensure: NM Journeyman Plumbing License or NM Journeyman Gas Fitter License. A valid NM Driver's License is required.
• Provide proof of all obtained certifications and relevant education/work experience in application.

• Environment: Work involves almost constant exposure to unusual elements: extreme temperatures, toxic chemicals, bihazardous materials, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, loud noises, and other potentially dangerous materials/situations requiring safety precautions/protective equipment.
• Physical Effort: Considerable physical activity; more than 70% of the job is physical work.
• Lifting Requirements: Heavy lifting, pushing or pulling of objects up to 50 pounds.
• Risk: Exposure to potentially dangerous materials and situations that require following extensive safety precautions and may include use of protective equipment.
