We are seeking qualified candidates for positions in Flagstaff and Prescott Valley. We’re looking for a Laborer to join our Aerial Crew team and help connect America. As a Laborer, Aerial Crew, you will perform duties related to the installation and repair of aerial telecommunications cable and ensure that the scope of work performed meets customer standards.

• Provide tools, parts, and materials to crew members as needed
• Reposition or move bucket trucks, trailers, or equipment as directed
• Ensure that door‑tagging and resident notifications for construction activities are completed before starting work each day
• Stock, clean, and maintain all company vehicles and equipment
• Perform hand digging using shovels and mechanical tools
• Direct/flag traffic flow in line with local DOT guidelines
• Work overtime, travel, and perform on‑call/after‑hours responsibilities as needed
• Perform work in all weather conditions
• Other duties as assigned

• To be 18 years of age or older
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company
• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience
• Must be able to pass a background check and company drug screening
• Must be able to attend and pass all company required training as needed
• May be required to work over‑time, after‑hours, on weekends or be on‑call as work is needed to ensure work is completed
• May include working nights and holidays as needed
• May be required to travel in state or overnight as necessary to meet business and job requirements
• Regular and timely attendance is an essential function of this position

• 0–1 or more years of unskilled labor experience, in telecommunications is a plus
• May be a certified pole climber or capable of demonstrating proficiency as a pole climber
• May have knowledge of installation of aerial and underground cables and/or support members in conformance with all applicable codes, regulations, and customer specifications (NEC Electrical Code, System and/or City Specifications)

• Duties will require the employee to stand, crouch, sit, bend, use hands and fingers, reach with hands and arms to spaces both high and low, and may involve climbing, balancing, crawling, crouching, lifting, holding, or stooping while on shift
• The noise level in the work environment for this position is moderate
• Employees performing functions of this position are regularly exposed to outside weather conditions which can include extreme heat and cold temperatures; inclement weather such as rain, snow, sleet and dust as well as adverse driving conditions including wet roads, icy roads, and fog
• Employees in this job classification may be exposed to dust, fumes or other airborne pathogens
• Employees may be exposed to toxic or corrosive chemicals as well as moving machinery parts and pieces
• Specific vision abilities required to perform this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus potentially near and/or far as needed

Pay Range: The Laborer Telecom Aerial hourly wage range is $16.35 - $21.15 depending on experience.
