CDL REQUIRED CLASS A OR B – SIGN ON BONUS!

• Drive a truck equipped with a concrete mixer to deliver concrete mix to job sites.
• Safely drive the truck to the job site and arrive with the desired slump within customer or job specifications.
• Fill the water tank before each delivery by placing a rubber hose into the tank and checking that all valves are shut.
• Place chutes from the fender or hanging rack onto the main chute at the rear of the truck for discharge, as customer needs dictate.
• After each shift, wash the truck with a hose and brush, using an acidic solution when necessary.
• Call out each day for start time as a ready‑mix driver.

• High school diploma (minimum) or one to three months of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to pass the Federal Department of Transportation drug screen and physical.
• Maintain a driving record in accordance with Federal and State Motor Carrier regulations and meet company policy requirements.
• Ability to handle cash and make change.
• Diplomatic communication skills for interacting with customers and employees in a variety of stressful situations.
• Read, interpret, and write routine reports and correspondence; speak effectively before groups of customers or employees; fluency in English.
• Maintain Department of Transportation health and safety certifications.
• Average work hours: 10 hours per day, 4 to 6 days per week.
• Frequent lifting of 50 pounds.
• Work in extreme temperatures (hot or cold).
