PositionCoordinator/Executive Assistant, Finance & Administration

Responsibilities- Oversee, coordinate, manage, and administer the Office of the Vice President for Finance & Administration under limited supervision.
- Assist in the development and application of policies.
- Assist with development and tracking of office and departmental budgets and assets.
- Serve as initial point of contact for internal/external clients on behalf of the VP's office.
- Handle initial intake of issues/complaints and route to appropriate departments for resolution.
- Provide recommendations, analyses, and reports to higher management to guide decisions.
- Provide general VP support, including travel arrangements, meeting scheduling, and expense reports.
The incumbent is responsible for technical requirements including reconciliation of financial processes and accounts, data collection and analysis, report formatting, coordination with auditors, and coordination of legislative requests. This role requires interaction with diverse stakeholders including college personnel, students, Chancellor's staff, NSHE Board of Regents, community partners, and Foundation staff and trustees.
QualificationsRequired
- Bachelor's degree in Business or related field from an accredited college/university, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 3 years of related or comparable professional experience.
Preferred
- 5 years of comparable professional experience.

- Exceptional organizational skills.
- Ability to build and maintain spreadsheets.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Ability to research, collect, and analyze data and format reports/presentations.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize.
- Ability to compile and consolidate information.
- Proficiency with personal computers and Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
- Knowledge of NSHE Board of Regents processes.
- Experience with trending analysis.
- Ability to work with a diverse student and employee population and coordinate document requests.
