Automotive Porter – Gerber Collision & Glass

We are looking for a dedicated Automotive Porter to maintain the appearance and cleanliness of our shop and office facilities, and to support vehicle preparation for delivery.
Job DescriptionThe Porter ensures the customer vehicles are clean and presentable before and after repairs, complements quality repairs by cleaning vehicles, and maintains the neatness of the shop and office. The role supports a safe, orderly environment for the team and customers.
Key Job Responsibilities- Ensure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan.
- Maintain daily housekeeping of the office interior, including emptying garbage cans, cleaning floors, dusting countertops, and work areas.
- Maintain daily housekeeping of the production area: empty waste cans, sweep floors, dispose of unwanted vehicle parts, and store tools and equipment properly.
- Maintain parking lots and grounds in a neat and orderly fashion, including shoveling sidewalks when necessary.
- Pre‑wash customer vehicles prior to repairs.
- Clean exterior and interior of customer vehicles after repairs are complete.
- Transport customer vehicles to sublet locations for repairs.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Ability to multitask.
- Automotive experience preferred.
- Clear close vision required.
- Age 18 or older.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Customer Service abilities.
- Positive attitude.
- Trustworthy and reliable.
- Willingness to learn.
Physical Requirements
- Pulling/pushing, carrying.
- Walking 5+ yards.
- Sitting and standing (5+ yards).
- Stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling for at least 1 yard.
- Operate a motor vehicle.
- Lift up to 50 pounds.
- Work exposure to moving mechanical parts.

Hourly: $13 – $19 per hour.
