The Account Manager (AM) serves as the primary point of contact for clients and is responsible for managing trade show exhibit programs from project inception through post-show completion. This role requires exceptional communication, organization, and problem-solving skills, along with a strong understanding of the trade show and events industry.
The Account Manager ensures client expectations are met, project schedules remain on track, budgets are maintained, and all internal departments work together to deliver a successful and consistent client experience.

RequiredSkills & Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the trade show and exhibit industry.
- Construction, fabrication, or project management experience is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects and manage demanding deadlines.
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with minimal supervision.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to delegate tasks and provide direction.
- Ability to analyze and interpret business contracts, proposals, and project documentation.
- Experience preparing reports, budgets, and business correspondence.
- Proficient in budgeting, cost accounting, project costing, and invoice reconciliation.
- Resourceful problem-solver with strong decision-making abilities, especially under pressure and tight deadlines.
- Willingness to travel locally and nationally as required.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients.
- Manage recurring business utilizing existing exhibit assets and properties.
- Generate estimates and proposals for installation and dismantle (I&D), transportation, storage, exhibit modifications, and show services.
- Coordinate routine exhibit updates, refurbishments, and reconfigurations.
- Manage project schedules, milestones, and deliverables.
- Maintain and oversee master show schedules for assigned clients.
- Coordinate with design, production, logistics, graphics, and installation teams to ensure successful execution.
- Monitor project budgets and maintain profitability targets.
- Build strong client relationships and maintain a high level of trust.
- Ensure a consistent and positive client experience throughout every project.
- Anticipate client needs and proactively identify solutions.
- Coordinate and manage small-scale exhibit revisions and enhancements.
- Support sales and design teams with project-related requirements.
- Assist with proposal development and client presentations when needed.
- Lead project hand-off, onboarding, and post-show review meetings.
- Identify, track, and resolve project challenges and unknowns.
- Maintain accurate project information within CRM and project management systems.
- Coordinate and facilitate client previews and exhibit walkthroughs.
- Provide on-site show support as required.
- Assist with weekend and after-hours support related to installation and dismantle activities.
- Participate in continuous process improvement initiatives.
- Ability to travel locally and nationwide to trade show venues and client locations as needed.
- Occasional weekend travel and work may be required.
