The mission of the Childcare position is to perform general caregiving duties to ensure children’s needs are met while their parents or guardians are attending an event on the Canyon Ridge campus. Childcare workers enthusiastically create a safe and fun environment for all kids attending one of our classes. Childcare workers will eagerly partner with Canyon Ridge Christian Church in providing outstanding care for our families.

A childcare employee will:

• Set up the check in stations 20 minutes prior to start time of any given class.
• Supervise and assist parents checking in their children when needed.
• Monitor family data, ensuring that only correct and up-to-date information is on each family profile.
• Relay recommendations from parents to the childcare supervisor on how best to improve check in and group time with the children.
• Continuously look for ways to grow the children’s experience while in our care and make recommendations to childcare supervisor.
• Act as the medium between parents and children, providing updates and information, when necessary, when children are in our groups.
• Be solely focused on maintaining the well-being of each child in the room.
• Attend all team meetings.
• Attend other meetings as directed.
• Attend necessary trainings as directed.
