Aboutthe Position
The Project Manager/Estimator in the Wastewater Division is responsible for both the preconstruction estimating phase and the full execution of WW/WTP construction projects. This includes site development, earthwork, underground utilities, and structural concrete. The role combines technical pricing, bidding, and planning with active leadership in field operations, schedule adherence, budgeting, and client coordination. The ideal candidate brings sharp analytical skills, hands-on civil construction experience, and a proactive management style.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (preferred)
5+ years of WW/WTP construction experience in both estimating and project management
Deep understanding of earthwork, underground utilities, and structural concrete
Proficient in estimating software (e.g., HCSS, Heavy Bid) and scheduling tools (e.g., MS Project)
Strong ability to read civil plans, grading layouts, and utility schematics
Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills
Experience with DOT, public works, or infrastructure contracts is a plus
Willingness to split time between office and field as needed
