INTRODUCTION:
Human Resources will screen applications and supplemental questionnaires. Candidates possessing the strongest skills and experience for this position will be forwarded to the hiring department for further evaluation and to determine who will be invited to the formal interview process. The successful candidate may be required to pass a job-related physical evaluation.

GENERAL PURPOSEUnder general supervision, performs detailed complex inspections of multi-disciplined public works, waterworks and utility construction projects; integrates plans, details and specifications to ensure construction and contract compliance; prepares project inspection reports; assists in the change order process; meets with contractors and/or engineers and attends design reviews, preconstruction, and progress meetings, including construction affecting transmission system rights-of-way; monitors and inspects construction activities within rights-of-way to ensure that transmission lines, fiber optic and telemetry cable, cathodic protection equipment and other structures are not damaged and proper grade level separations are maintained;

travels pipeline inspection routes; and performs related duties as assigned.
