Build Your Career with Pavilion Construction

At Pavilion Construction, we believe in building more than projects - we build lasting relationships, strong teams, and rewarding careers. We are seeking an experienced, motivated, and detail-oriented Project Manager to lead construction projects from preconstruction through successful completion.

As a Project Manager, you'll take ownership of project planning, execution, financial performance, and overall delivery. You'll serve as a primary point of contact for clients, architects, subcontractors, and internal project teams while ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to Pavilion's quality standards.

This position offers the opportunity to lead meaningful construction projects, mentor project team members, and contribute to the continued success of a growing organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage construction projects from preconstruction and project initiation through completion and closeout.

  • Develop and execute comprehensive project management plans, including schedules, budgets, procurement strategies, and project milestones.

  • Lead preconstruction and project kickoff meetings to establish expectations, responsibilities, and communication processes.

  • Oversee project financial performance, including budgets, cost tracking, forecasting, change orders, and overall profitability.

  • Coordinate with Superintendents, Project Engineers, subcontractors, and other project stakeholders to maintain efficient project execution.

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, architects, engineers, and other project partners.

  • Manage subcontractor relationships, contract administration, and coordination of project deliverables.

  • Monitor construction progress, identify potential risks, and implement proactive solutions to maintain project schedules and budgets.

  • Review project documentation, RFIs, submittals, and change orders to ensure timely resolution and communication.

  • Partner with field leadership to maintain jobsite safety, quality standards, and compliance with project requirements.

  • Provide leadership, coaching, and mentorship to project team members, including Superintendents and Project Engineers.

  • Maintain accurate project reporting and communicate project status, milestones, and challenges to leadership and stakeholders.

  • Oversee project closeout activities, including final documentation, punch lists, and client turnover.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of construction experience working on multifamily, senior housing, or hospitality projects.

  • Previous experience as a Project Engineer, Superintendent, or Project Manager on active construction projects.

  • Strong understanding of construction project management, scheduling, budgeting, and contract administration.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

  • Experience using construction estimating and accounting software.

  • Familiarity with construction management platforms such as Viewpoint, Microsoft Project, or Pro Contractor preferred.

  • Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to manage competing priorities, make informed decisions, and maintain accountability for project outcomes.

  • Collaborative, solutions-oriented approach to working with clients, subcontractors, and project teams.

  • Two years of postsecondary education, trade school, apprenticeship, or related training is a plus.
