Pre-Press Technician

The Pre-Press Technician will be responsible for preparing customer artwork for print production. This includes reviewing, adjusting, and proofing digital files to ensure they meet press specifications. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for detail, technical understanding of print production, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Review customer‑submitted files for accuracy, resolution, color mode, and bleed requirements.

Prepare, adjust, and proof digital files for offset, digital, and large‑format printing.

Perform pre‑flight checks and ensure files meet production standards.

Work closely with designers, print operators, and production staff to ensure accurate output.

Troubleshoot file issues, missing fonts, and layout errors as needed.

Maintain file organization and backup systems.

Ensure color accuracy and consistency across print jobs.

1‑2 years of experience in a pre‑press or print production environment (preferred).

Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Acrobat).

Understanding of print file setup (bleeds, CMYK, resolution, and imposition).

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple projects.

Team‑oriented with excellent communication skills.

$20 per hour starting pay
