JOBHIGHLIGHTS

- $20.00 per hour plus bonus potential of up to $5,069.49 or more monthly based on performance.
90‑day collections will oversee handling accounts that have fallen over three payments past due. They will need to contact customers via phone and skip trace to locate customers that are difficult to get a hold of. The agent will have a monthly goal that needs to be reached. Agent will need to incorporate several skip trace techniques as well as negotiation skills to cure accounts.
Agent will also have to use his/her skip trace knowledge to locate collateral and work closely with repossession agent.
- Collect accounts that are past due three or more payments.
- Bring delinquency down in set queue.
- Call customers that are past due three payments.
- Skip trace to locate customers that are delinquent and collateral.
- Make arrangements and negotiate with delinquent accounts to bring current.
- Agent will need to be able to handle high volume calls in a fast‑paced environment.
- Work with repossession agent to secure collateral.
- Skiptrace Knowledge.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Willing and able to work a flexible schedule including overtime and weekends.
- Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment.
- Extensive knowledge of state and federal laws applicable to collections, including the Fair Debt Collections Practices Act.
- Good computer and typing skills.
- Team player.
- Good negotiation skills; excellent telephone etiquette.
- General knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Outlook.
- Web navigation and/or web‑based applications.
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- 3+ years of Backend subprime collections.
- Auto Collections experience preferred.
