Job Title
Front Desk Group Coordinator
LocationThe Strat (Las Vegas, NV)
SummaryAs the Front Desk Group Coordinator, you are the first point of contact for group-related needs. Your strong organizational skills are important for handling inquiries, booking rooms, coordinating special requests, communicating with group leaders, and ensuring a seamless check-in and check-out process for large groups.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities- Collect files from Group Reservations on incoming groups to pre-assign rooms, check-in groups, create keys, and deliver rooming list to the Bell Desk
- Issue keys to the group leader and collect payment/vouchers
- Assign guest accommodations in accordance with current policies and procedures
- Manage cash flow in assigned bank and perform account postings
- Reconcile departed group accounts and deliver files to Finance
- Provide excellent guest service by handling all special requests and resolve any guest concerns
- Run various reports regarding group activities
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless execution of group needs
- Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations, if they apply to the position
- Provide outstanding guest service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members that meets the company’s guest service culture standards
- Perform other duties as assigned
- At least 6 months of experience in a role with similar responsibilities or with relevant transferrable skills in a similar environment
- Experience providing high level of guest service
- Ability to access and input information using a moderately complex computer system
- At least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to effectively communicate in English, both written and verbal
- Obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company
- Verify right to work in the United States
- Occasionally push/pull up to 35lbs
- Occasionally lift and/or carry up to 35lbs at floor, knee, waist, and chest levels
- Occasionally walk, squat, kneel, reach, bend, twist
- Constantly stand and work at a desk or computer
- Ability to communicate using in-person speech, radios, and telephone
Ability to hear, understand, and distinguish speech and/or other sound in person - Constant use of hearing and vision, distinguish between shades of color and use tools or equipment requiring a high degree of dexterity
