Preservation Architect

Preservation Architect - Las Vegas, USA

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Preservation Architect to join our team in Las Vegas. As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historic buildings, structures, and sites while ensuring they meet modern safety and accessibility standards.

Responsibilities:
- Conducting assessments of historic buildings, structures, and sites to determine their condition and necessary preservation work
- Developing preservation plans and strategies for projects based on historical research and analysis
- Collaborating with engineers, contractors, and other professionals to ensure preservation work is carried out effectively
- Obtaining necessary permits and approvals from local authorities for preservation projects
- Managing project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure timely completion of preservation work
- Conducting site visits to monitor progress of preservation work and address any issues that may arise
- Preparing reports and documentation on the history of the building or site as well as the preservation work undertaken

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture with a focus on historic preservation
- Minimum of 3 years experience working as a Preservation Architect on historic buildings or sites
- Strong knowledge of architectural history, materials, construction techniques, and codes related to historic buildings
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Knowledge of local regulations related to historic preservation is preferred
- Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders
- Ability to conduct fieldwork including climbing ladders or scaffolding
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills

Salary: $1400 per month

This is a part-time position suitable for men. No English language proficiency is required. Accommodation will not be provided. Applicants must have experience in the field of historic preservation. We welcome applicants from India who are passionate about preserving historical buildings in Las Vegas.
