Project Architect – Hospitality
Job Location:
Las Vegas, NV
Join Gensler as a Project Architect on a confidential integrated resort project spanning over one million square feet; design casino, hotel, and entertainment venues and a championship golf course.
Responsibilities- Lead the project through all design phases:
Concept, Schematic, Design Development, Construction Documents, Bidding & Negotiations, Construction Administration and Closeout. - Program, entitle and negotiate consultant proposals and prepare consultant contracts.
- Perform technical design assignments including programming, conceptual strategy, technical studies and construction documents.
- Engage directly with clients and coordinate approvals.
- Manage project coordination with engineering and specialty consultants.
- Support communication between project team, clients, contractors, consultants and permitting officials.
- Provide design support and documentation during completion and execution of design concepts.
- Professional degree in Architecture with a rigorous portfolio.
- Licensed Architect (US) required;
Nevada or NCARB preferred. - 8+ years of relevant architectural experience in large‑scale mixed use, hospitality, casino and integrated resorts.
- LEED accreditation and experience preferred.
- Revit mastery or BIM experience highly preferred.
- Outstanding knowledge of building codes, standards and building structures.
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and public‑speaking skills.
- Collaboration across firm, clients and key constituents.
Base salary $95,000 – $105,000 plus bonuses, benefits and contingent on experience.
