Position SummaryResponsible for the administrative and clinical operations of Hepatology and Liver Transplant Services in conjunction with the primary liver transplant surgeon, including quality management, the evaluation and selection of patients and donors, and post‑transplant care. Promotes high standards of practice through development of liver transplant policies, protocols, and practice guidelines and participates in rigorous performance improvement monitoring.
Job Requirements- Board Certified in Transplant Hepatology and Gastroenterology.
- Procedural experience with Esophagogastroduodenoscopy, colonoscopy, ERCPs, and ultrasound‑guided liver biopsies preferred.
- Knowledge, skills, and abilities to manage liver transplant program.
Graduation from an accredited school of medicine. Completion of a twelve‑month formal Transplant Hepatology Fellowship with specialized training under a qualified liver transplant physician and surgeon. Demonstrated track record in all aspects of organ transplant program development.
Licensing & Certification- Valid license by State of Nevada to practice medicine.
- State of Nevada Pharmacy Board license to prescribe medications and DEA Controlled Substance Registration Certificate.
- Certifications:
BLS, ACLS or ALS, NRP or PALS (if required).
