Provides a spectrum of image interpretation, image‑guided procedures and patient care services within the specialty of Diagnostic Radiology. May also possess additional subspecialty expertise. At‑will position served at the pleasure of the CEO.
Education / Experience- Graduation from an accredited school of medicine.
- Three (3) years of clinical practice experience as a radiologist.
- Valid License by State of Nevada to practice medicine.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Radiology.
- Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) from the American Heart Association (AHA) may be required.
Position Requirements
- Board‑certified by the American Board of Radiology / American Osteopathic Board of Radiology.
- Board‑certified in both Diagnostic and/or Interventional Radiology.
- Post‑residency fellowship training in the specialty.
- Actively practicing for three (3) years interpreting under various modalities such as X‑ray, Nuclear, and Mammo.
Physical Requirements
- Proficient in general diagnostic radiology, ER and acute inpatient cases with high volume reading efficiency.
- Competent with computers and related software applications.
- Effective communication with a wide variety of people from diverse socio‑economic and ethnic backgrounds.
- Efficient, effective and safe use of equipment.
- Mobility to work in a typical office setting and use standard equipment, stamina to remain seated and maintain concentration for extended periods of time.
- Strength and agility to exert up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
