The
** Senior Coordinator*
* ** position
* * requires four years of relevant full-time experience or two years post master’s relevant full-time experience and experience with supervising student staff.
* Experience with campus activities; plan and implement campus events
* Facilitate leadership training for students and/or student organizations
* Experience marketing programs and involvement to appeal to students
* Presentation skills; communicate effectively both verbally and in writing; excellent interpersonal skills
* Translate student development and leadership theory and research into practice
* Form and maintain positive working relationships with students, staff, and faculty
* Work autonomously and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
* Analyze situations and develop solutions
* Value a high degree of student contact
* Work collaboratively with student organizations and University Departments
* Knowledge of student development and cultural identity development theory
* Large scale event planning
* Experience advising student programming boards
* Effective staff supervision
* Coordinate with vendors, track expenses and execute within budget
* Assessment of student needs and outcomes
* Experience working with commuter student populations
