Instructor, Accounting, Finance, & Comp Office Tech - Tenure Track - Fall 2026
Under Direction of the CSN Accounting Department Chair, successful applicants will support the mission of the Nevada System of Higher Education, and the College of Southern Nevada.
Primary job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:- Teaching assignments designed to prepare students for certification in areas such as Financial, Managerial, Tax Accounting, and other accounting courses.
- Participation in student advisement, recruitment activities, assessment of Student Learning Outcomes, and Program/Curriculum Development.
- Serving on Department, School, and College wide Committees along with other duties as assigned.
- Ability to work with a diverse workforce and student body.
- Desire to engage the local community and business sector, including collaboration with the Clark County School District, and to enhance self‑growth via internal and external courses and seminars using learning management systems.
- Assignments may be multi‑campus with the possibility of day, evening, and/or weekend classes.
- Master's Degree in Accounting or Business Administration from a regionally accredited institution.
- Ph.D. in Accounting
- CPA and/or CFE Professional Certification
Initial salary placement is based on educational level and total years of full‑time equivalent teaching experience. For a master's degree holder, the salary range is $46,691 to $59,768 annually, up to $71,123 annually for a doctorate with 10 years of experience. A maximum of 10 years of experience is considered for initial placement purposes.
