Founded in 1971 and situated in the greater Las Vegas metropolitan area, the College of Southern Nevada is the most ethnically diverse college in Nevada and the first to receive the HSI designation. Job Summary

The Southern Desert Regional Police Academy (SDRPA) was established in 2003 and is located at the Waters Street Facility in Henderson, NV. CSN serves as the fiscal and logistical agent for the SDRPA. The CSN Academic Director serves under the administrative direction of the CSN Dean of Business, Hospitality and Public Services. The Academic Director acts as the academic liaison between the college and the SDRPA Commander and leadership.
